“#Official HIGE DANdism Performs Tokyo Revengers OP Theme Surrounded by A Pile of Scraps”

The four-member Japanese rock band Official HIGE DANdism released their latest digital single song “Cry Baby” today on May 7 and posted its four-minute full music video on their official YouTube channel. The dramatic rock tune is now featured as the OP theme for the spring 2021 TV anime Tokyo Revengers.

The band was formed in 2012 and has provided theme songs for the TV anime Hinomaru Sumo (2018) and the anime feature film HELLO WORLD (2019). The music video for “Cry Baby” was directed by Takuto Shinbo, who has worked on many of the band’s previous videos, and was shot on a set made of scraps.

The TV anime adaptation of Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers action manga, directed by Koichi Hatsumi (Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga), premiered in Japan on April 10, 2021, and has also been simulcast on Crunchyroll to its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
