A viral video shows a cop breaking down in tears, after a long wait at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Georgia made her “too nervous” to accept her breakfast order.

The officer named Stacey, who identified herself as a 15-year veteran of the force, filmed herself becoming emotional after she says she experienced delays in picking up a mobile order for a McMuffin, hashbrowns and coffee at a McDonald’s in Richmond Hill, just outside outside Savannah.

“I hadn’t eaten in a while so I was kind of hungry,” said the teary-eyed cop in the video circulated on Twitter. “So I’m still waiting and I’m still waiting.”

After a lengthy wait at the window, Stacey says she was told to “pull up” because her food still wasn’t ready. One of the employees then came out — but with only her coffee.

“I said ‘don’t bother with the food because right now I’m too nervous to take it,’” the cop said.

“It doesn’t matter how many hours I’ve been up. It doesn’t matter what I’ve done for anyone. Right now I’m too nervous to take a meal from McDonald’s because I can’t see it being made.”

Stacey then called on people to give cops a “break” as law enforcement faces scrutiny across the country in the wake of George Floyd’s police-custody death.

“I don’t know what’s going on with people nowadays, but please, just give us a break. Please just give us a break,” she said. “I don’t know how much more I can take.”

The video has racked up more than three million views on Twitter, with some users expressing outrage over her treatment.

“Stacey who has been a cop for 15 yrs went to  @McDonalds She paid for it in advance and this is how she gets treated for being a cop … Come on America. We are better than this,” wrote @tkag2020_ann, who first posted the video.

But others have dubbed the cop “Officer Karen,” a name that has become shorthand for white women who complain about innocuous incidents.

“Black people are worried about getting killed in their sleep and cops are having nervous breakdowns about hash browns,” wrote one Twitter user.

“Police officers need to be able to handle high pressure, life or death situations, and Stacey has gone viral because her McMuffin was late.”

Others noted the video comes days after an unarmed black man, Rayshard Brooks, 27, was killed in a police confrontation that began when he fell asleep in his car at a Wendy’s drive-thru in Atlanta.

“Stacey’s sobbing because they forgot to give her a McMuffin while Rayshard Brooks is murdered in a Wendy’s parking lot,” one user wrote.

The incident also comes after police unions in New York City accused workers at a Manhattan Shake Shack of deliberately poisoning three cops with tainted milkshakes. Police ultimately found the fast food joint hadn’t intentionally meddled with the drinks after all.
