OceanVeil Streaming Service Licenses Makina-san’s a Love Bot?!
WWWave Corporation’s anime streaming platform OceanVeil has announced that it licensed the upcoming romantic comedy series Makina-san’s a Love Bot?! The anime will begin streaming on the platform starting April 6, 2025 at 9:20 AM PST.
An English dub of the series will be announced, which will have a slight delay in release in contrast to the anime’s subtitled release.
Makina-san’s a Love Bot?! (also known as Kakushite! Makina-san!! in Japanese) is part of WWWave Corporation’s Deregula anime label. OceanVeil will stream the anime’s “Complete Deregula Version,” which will be completely uncensored.
The anime series will begin broadcasting in Japan on April 6, 2025 in a 15-minute time slot with two versions: a standard censored version on TV and streaming platforms in Japan and an uncensored version on the AnimeFesta service, as well as on DMM TV and other platforms.
Masayoshi Nishita (Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru) is directing the anime, with Kentaro Ino (episode director for Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuutan Episode 1, 2, 6, 10) as assistant director, Yohei Kashi (Isekai Onsen Paradise) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, and Yusaku Nakamura (Love Flops Episode 5 and 6 co-chief animation director) as main character designer. BloomZ is in charge of the animation production, in cooperation with Wolfsbane.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

- • Yuki Kuwahara as Mimika
- • Hina Natsume as Mamimi
- • Eriko Matsui as Alma
- • Ryoko Shintani as Landlady
The anime is based on the erotic comedy manga series by Yoshimi Sato, which was launched in Futabasha’s Monthly Action on October 25, 2022, before transferring to Web Comic Action on April 2, 2024. Four tankobon volumes have been released as of December 2024. Seven Seas Entertainment releases the manga in English for North America.
OceanVeil describes the main synopsis of Makina-san’s a Love Bot?!:
Eita Akutsu is a loner and an introverted mecha otaku. One night, the cheerful and popular gyaru, Makina Agatsuma, suddenly appears in his apartment. But something seems off about her. When she abruptly strips in front of him… what he sees is not a human body, but a mechanical one! Makina is an AI robot designed for intimacy, yet she’s been restricted from accessing any adult-related information. Eita, on the other hand, is a pure-hearted virgin who is extremely awkward and has no experience with women at all! Thus begins their top-secret cohabitation, where no one can find out her true nature!
According to Anime News Network, WWWave Corporation stated that the OceanVeil streaming platform will stream “adult and mature anime titles” as well as “more mainstream and popular non-mature titles.” It was recently launched this past February 2025 and will include WWWave Corporation and Suiseisha titles in their “uncensored format.”
WWWave Corporation releases many of its AnimeFesta titles in English on its Coolmic website, as well as its manga from the company.
