A short clip posted to Twitter Tuesday night shows a yellow Toyota Camry with an “NYC T” emblazoned on its driver’s side door and a taxi roof light — but also flashing police lights in the grill.
“This is the craziest s–t I’ve seen,” the person on the video can be heard saying.
As the person walks by a cuffed man can be seen in the back seat as cops get in the car.
“Go home,” the cop says.
The NYPD has used undercover cabs since at least 2010, according to published reports.
A spokesperson for TLC referred all questions on the undercover cars to the NYPD, which did not immediately respond for comment.
