NYPD officers arrest arrest protesters for breaking a curfew Friday night.

The number is a steep 85 percent decline from the 270 arrested overnight Thursday, and 78 percent less than the 180 arrests overnight Wednesday.
The city has been under an 8 pm curfew for the past three nights, largely curbing the chaotic looting and vandalism. It’s expected to stay in place through Sunday.
Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance said Friday he hoped to limit protester arrests by declining to prosecute low-level offenses, such as disorderly conduct and unlawful assembly.
