Bartees Strange performed a suite of Live Forever tracks for the latest episode of NPR’s “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” series. Below, watch the indie-rocker and his band set up in a basement to play “Boomer,” “Mustang,” and reimagined takes on “In a Cab” and “Flagey God.” Between songs, he takes the opportunity to big up Yves Tumor and “indie rock Michael Jordan” Aaron Dessner.
All four songs feature on Strange’s debut LP Live Forever, one of Pitchfork’s albums of 2020. The outfit recently brought “Boomer” to Seth Meyers.
