#NYC man who stabbed teen has been arrested: cops

A man has been arrested in the random stabbing death of a stranger in Upper Manhattan last month, police said Sunday.

Mike Kushnir, 24, was charged with murder in the March 27 broad-daylight slaying of a teenager on a Washington Heights street, cops said.

The victim, who was previously said to be 21, is a 17-year-old Bronx boy named Gerardo Rivas, according to the NYPD.

Before he died, the teen was able to tell cops he’d been standing on a street corner when his attacker came up and knifed him, police sources told The Post at the time.

The victim flagged down an ambulance near the intersection of 181st Street and Saint Nicholas Avenue around 2:15 p.m. He’d been stabbed in the torso, cops said.

He was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later.

Kushnir, of Midtown West, was nabbed April 8. He was arraigned the next day and remanded, records show.

He’s due back in court Wednesday.

His attorney didn’t immediately return a request for comment early Sunday.
