A 19-year-old man was shot and killed outside of a Brooklyn public housing complex on Wednesday, police said.
The victim, identified as Jaden Cruz, was shot in the chest in front of a building at
NYCHA’s Marlboro Houses in Gravesend at about 5:10 p.m., according to the NYPD.
Cruz was taken to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn and pronounced dead, authorities said.
It was unclear what triggered the deadly shooting.
No arrests were immediately made and police did not provide any suspect descriptions.
