Tyrone Miles, 29, was charged with two counts of sex trafficking and other crimes for allegedly forcing the teens, 16 and 17, to sleep with strangers for money and then pocketing the cash, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said.
He ran the sickening operation from a room at The JFK Inn Hotel between June 5 and June 12, prosecutors said.
At the hotel, Miles allegedly had sex with the 16-year-old girl and later told her she would be doing the same with other men for money.
When she refused, he told her: “I will kill you,” prosecutors allege.
He also told her to lie about her age to prospective Johns, so they would believe she was old enough to consent. The teen was forced to sleep with several men for money, but never saw a dime.
The monster also beat the girl, badly bruising her, when she tried to escape, making her fearful that he’d hurt her again — or worse — if she didn’t comply, prosecutors said.
The second victim was also afraid that Miles would rough her up if she didn’t obey his disgusting demands.
She was paid for repeated dates with strangers, with the cash collected by a woman, who was allegedly also staying in the hotel room. That woman was not identified publicly and has not been apprehended.
The two victims were kept separated from each other, and the 17-year-old was also not fed by Miles or the unidentified woman, prosecutors said.
In addition to sex trafficking and sex trafficking of a child, Miles, of Jamaica, was charged with two counts each of compelling prostitution, promoting prostitution in the second degree and rape in the third degree.
He was arraigned Thursday and is being held on $500,000 bond, according to court records. His next court date is set for August 8.
If convicted, he faces between 10 to 50 years in prison.
Miles’ defense attorney didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
