“New York City is late,” Cuomo said. “That is unfortunate because parents want to see the plans so parents can respond.”
The governor said in early July that schools across the state would have to submit plans by July 31.
The city Department of Education told The Post on Friday that it would be submitting its plan to the state by the end of the day.
The issue surfaced several hours after Mayor Bill de Blasio and city schools Chancellor Richard Carranza rolled out a hazy reopening plan.
