Instagram fitness influencer Ca’Shawn Ashley Sims has been found safe in a Los Angeles hospital after vanishing a month ago, authorities said.
The 30-year-old was found in “good condition” at the hospital and has since been reunited with her family, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said late Thursday.
“There is no suspicion of foul play,” the sheriff’s office said. “The family is asking for privacy.”
Sims, whose nickname is “Cookie,” hadn’t been seen since Sept. 8 in Duarte — a city outside of Los Angeles.
The fitness influencer, who has about 216,000 followers on her personal Instagram account, hadn’t posted anything on social media since July 1.
Authorities issued a missing person’s alert Monday as her family pleaded for the public’s help locating her.
Sims’ mother told KABC her daughter had been suffering from mental health issues during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The sheriff’s office said they wouldn’t be released any further details about Sims’ disappearance.
