#Nobita no Esekai Monogatari Releases New Visual, Trailer & Theme Song

A new main poster visual and trailer have been released for the upcoming Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Esekai Monogatari anime film. The film is scheduled to begin screening in Japanese theaters on March 7, 2025.

The trailer previews the film’s main theme song “Sketch” by Japanese singer-songwriter Aimyon

Yukiyo Teramoto (Mysterious Joker, Doraemon: Nobita’s Secret Gadget Museum) is directing the latest anime film with a screenplay written by Satoshi Ito (Doraemon co-scriptwriter).

Meanwhile, the main voice cast stars: 

  • • Wasabi Mizuta as Doraemon
  • • Megumi Ohara as Nobita
  • • Yumi Kakazu as Shizuka
  • • Subaru Kimura as Gian 
  • • Tomokazu Seki as Suneo

Japanese actor Oji Suzuka will guest star in the film as Paru, a mysterious art dealer in Artoria.

The original Doraemon manga by the late duo Fujiko F. Fujio began serialization in December 1969 in various children’s magazines published by Shogakukan. A total of 46 tankobon volumes were published between 1974 to 1996 under the Tentoumushi Comics label. A Volume 0 was recently released in 2019. 

Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Esekai Monogatari is the 44th anime film in the Doraemon franchise and serves as its 45th anniversary project. The first Doraemon TV anime series began airing in 1973, while the current TV anime series began in 2005. 

The newest film follows Doraemon, Nobita, and his friends as they embark on a medieval adventure into a fantasy world through a painting. There, they meet Claire and Milo, who come from the country of Artoria, and a small demon named Chai. Together, they prepare to face a powerful enemy for a legendary jewel.
