#Deshaun Watson wants off Texans no matter who next coach is

Deshaun Watson is not expected to change his mind about wanting out of Houston, regardless of who the Houston Texans hire as their next head coach, ESPN reported Sunday.

The disgruntled Pro Bowl quarterback has been the subject of trade speculation since the end of the regular season after it was reported that he was unhappy over having no input into the team’s offseason hires.

Watson is said to have identified the Jets and the Miami Dolphins as his top two potential trade destinations, according to the Miami Herald. His official Instagram page even “liked” a screenshot depicting him on the back page of The Post last week along with the headline “WATever It Takes.”

Watson has yet to publicly request a trade “nor have the Texans shown any interest in trading him, per sources,” NFL Network reported Sunday.

The Texans ignored the recommendations of Korn Ferry — the consulting firm they’d hired to find a new general manager to replace ousted GM/coach Bill O’Brien in October — including ESPN analyst Louis Riddick and Steelers vice president of football administration Omar Kahn.

Instead, Texans chairman Cal McNair and vice president of football operations Jack Easterby went with longtime Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio.

Watson also reportedly was upset that he found out about Caserio’s hiring via social media. He has a no-trade clause in his five-year $156 million contract, meaning he can dictate any trade destination.

As for their coaching search, the Texans are expected to request second interviews with Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier following Sunday’s AFC Championship game between those teams.

Houston already has interviewed former Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell, as well as longtime NFL quarterback Josh McCown, Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus and Baltimore Ravens assistant head coach David Culley.

The 25-year-old Watson led the NFL with 4,823 passing yards this season, with 33 touchdown passes and a career-low seven interceptions for the Texans, who finished with a 4-12 record.
