A new promotional visual for the third and final part of Attack on Titan Final Season has been released. It depicts Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Reiner, Jean, and Connie utilizing their omni-directional mobility gear with Eren’s partially obscured Titan head in the background.

The final part of Attack on Titan Final Season was announced this April and will premiere sometime in 2023.

The staff of Parts 1 and 2 includes Yuuichirou Hayashi as director, Hiroshi Seko as series composer, Tomohiro Kishi as character designer, Daisuke Niinuma as chief animation director, Kazuo Ogura as art director, Shigeki Asakawa as photography director, and Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto as music composers. MAPPA is the animation production company. Itsuku Oonishi replaced Ayako Suenaga as color designer for Part 2. Part 2 also saw Manabu Akita being credited as chief animation director alongside Niinuma on the website credits.

Attack on Titan is based on the manga by Hajime Isayama. It was first published in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in 2009 and ended in April 2021 with 34 tankoubon volumes. 

The anime series began in 2013 as a WIT STUDIO production, with MAPPA taking over for Final Season after three previous seasons. There have been various Attack on Titan spinoff manga, novels, games, and a two-part live-action Japanese film series as well.
