The production team for the fantasy anime series I’m Quitting Heroing has released a new key visual and PV trailer teasing the final climactic battle between the Hero, the Demon Lord, and the Elite Four. The visual features the anime’s main characters, consisting of Echidna, Shutina, Lili, Melnes, and Edwald, with protagonist Leo Demonhart in the background. 

I’m Quitting Heroing was first confirmed to premiere in April 2022 last October. An initial key visual of the series was subsequently released in February 2022. Sentai Filmworks is currently streaming the anime as it airs in Japan on their HIDIVE service. 

The main voice cast of the anime is headlined by Kensho Ono as Leo Demonheart, Kaede Hondo as Echidna, Shizuka Itou as Steiner, Hitomi Oowada as Lily, Yumi Uchiyama as Mernes, and Tetsu Inada as Edvard.

The production staff consists of Yuu Nobuta (The Faraway Paladin director) as chief director, Hisashi Ishii (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear series director) as director, Shigeru Murakoshi (Zombie Land Saga Revenge) as series composer, Yuki Nakano (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) as character designer, Toshiyuki Tokuda (Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory) as art director, Sakie Suzuki as color designer (Z/X: Code Reunion), Tsunetaka Ema (Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul) and Rumi Ishiguro (Forest of Piano) as photography directors, and Kouhei Munemoto as music composer. EMT Squared is the animation production company.

The original light novels were written by Quantum and illustrated by Hana Amano. The series originated as a web novel on Kakuyomu in 2017. The light novels ran from 2017 to 2018 with three volumes published under the Kadokawa Books label. A manga adaptation by Nori Kazato launched in Young Ace Up magazine began in 2018.
