#Netflix Releases 1st Official Teaser Trailer of Arcane Season 2

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of Arcane, which the company describes as the “final chapter.” The second season will premiere on Netflix sometime in November 2024. 

The first season contained 9 episodes and were released in three parts in 2021 on November 6, November 13, and November 20. GKIDS recently acquired the home video and digital transactional rights to the first season. The animated series is part of the overall League of Legends universe. 

The three main voice cast members from the first season are reprising their roles for the second season, which includes Ella Purnell as Jinx, Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, and Katie Leung as Caitlyn Kiramman. 

Fortiche Productions is the animation production company again, with Riot Games credited with the creative supervision. The second season was originally scheduled to release in 2023 before being delayed. 

Christian Linke and Alex Yee serve as creators for the animated series. Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord co-directed several episodes of the series. 

Arcane has won several awards and accolades, including Best Adaptation at The Game Awards and Outstanding Animated Program at the Primetime Emmy Awards. It was also honored at the Annie Awards.  

Netflix describes the synopsis of Arcane as:

Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.
