“#Thom Yorke shares haunting new remix of Radiohead’s “Creep””
The new 9-minute version finally sees an official release.
Thom Yorke shared a new remix of the Radiohead’s “Creep” on Monday—a haunting, slowed-down take on their 1992 hit. After being used in Japanese fashion designer Jun Takahashi’s Undercover Fall 2021 show back in March, the song is finally seeing an official release. The new version stretches the song out to 9 minutes, with Yorke’s now-warped vocals floating over acoustic guitars and atmospheric synths later on in the track.
Yorke’s last album, Amina, dropped back in 2019. Most recently, his new band The Smile shared new music after making their surprise debut in a performance streamed by Glastonbury Festival back in May.
