#New Richard Swift Posthumous 7″ Release Announced: Hear the Songs

A new Richard Swift 7″ single has been announced. It’s out June 25 via Secretly Canadian and features two previously unreleased comedy tracks from the late producer: “KFC” and the B-side “A Man’s Man.” The songs are available on streaming services now; listen below ahead of the physical release.

Swift passed away in 2018 at age 41. In 2019, Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard The Swift Sessions, a 7″ with material taken from two separate recording sessions with the producer that benefited the producer’s family in addition to MusiCares and Music Support UK. The solo final album Swift recorded before his death, The Hex, was released in 2018.
