#My Oni Girl Gets Official Trailer, New Visual

Netflix has released an official trailer and a visual for the My Oni Girl original anime movie, which premieres on May 24. The trailer includes a preview of the Zutomayo theme song “Truth in Lies.”

More cast members were also revealed, including Shintaro Asanuma, Aya Yamane, Tomoko Shiota, Shiro Saito, Mio Tanaka, Satsuki Yukino, Shozo Sasaki, Noriko Hidaka, Satoshi Mikami, and Hisako Kyoda.

My Oni Girl is part of animation production company Studio Colorido‘s three-movie partnership with Netflix; the first was 2022’s Drifting Home. Before these two films, Netflix streamed the Studio Colorido production A Whisker Away in 2020.

Netflix describes My Oni Girl as: 

My Oni Girl tells the story of Hiiragi Yatsuse, a first-year high school student who struggles to make friends despite his efforts to please others. His life takes an unexpected turn when one summer day, he meets Tsumugi, an oni (demon) girl on a quest to find her mother in the human world. Snow mysteriously begins to fall… and their adventure begins.
