“#Supermarket Sweep: ABC Game Show Reboot Resumes Production”
Supermarket Sweep is once again open for business! The series has resumed production after being shutdown with everything else earlier this year.
Per Deadline, the game show started filming on Friday with limited crew and no audience. It was also reported that all of the grocery items will be donated to local food charities in Los Angeles.
The series was picked up for a fall release back in May. It was set to join ABC’s Sunday night line-up at that time. Viewers will need to wait and see if that sticks.
Supermarket Sweep has aired on ABC, Lifetime and PAX over the years. Leslie Jones is behind this latest incarnation.
