"My Hero Academia Exhibition: DRAWING SMASH," the first original art exhibition for Kohei Horikoshi's sci-fi action shonen manga My Hero Academia, is planned to be held in Tokyo and Osaka in 2021.

In addition to the original drawings by the manga author, it will also offer three-dimensional exhibits and video screenings. Studio Bones, the production studio that has produced the My Hero Academia anime series since 2016, will provide storyboards and videos. And, a number of original merchandise using the exhibition's key visuals will also be sold.

Horikoshi drew a key visual for the event featuring 24 characters from the manga. He posted a comment on Twitter, "I never thought I would be able to hold an original art exhibition, and after hearing about it from the editor in charge, I had a stomach ache with anxiety. I'm working on various stuff to ensure that visitors will never lose anything!"

"My Hero Academia Exhibition: DRAWING SMASH" is scheduled to be held first at Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo from April 23 to June 27, 2021, then at Grant Front Osaka North Building's Knowledge Capital Event Lab / Knowledge Theater from July 16 to September 5, 2021. Ticket information will be announced in Weekly Shonen Jump to be published on January 18, 2021.
