#Mossimo Giannulli reports to prison to begin 5-month sentence

Mossimo Giannulli began his prison sentence Thursday for his role in the nationwide college admissions scandal — just weeks after his wife, Lori Loughlin, began her own stint behind bars.

The fashion designer, 57, reported to the Federal Correctional Institution in Lompoc, Calif., the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed to Page Six on Thursday, to begin his five-month term. Giannulli’s release date is not yet known, according to the facility’s online database.

Giannulli turned himself in after shaving his head ahead of his sentence, perhaps to give himself a more hardened appearance.

The “Full House” star’s husband also has to pay a $250,000 fine and perform 250 hours of community service.

The California couple paid $500,000 to admitted college scammer William “Rick” Singer to get their daughters, Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli, accepted into the University of Southern California. The top university accepted the girls as rowing recruits despite the fact that neither had rowed.

Giannulli pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and honest services wire and mail fraud, while Loughlin, 56, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud.
