#More PCs Are Getting Windows 11, Is Yours Next?

If you’re waiting for Windows Update to let you know that Windows 11 is ready for your PC, you might be in luck, as Microsoft has started rolling the latest version of Windows out to more people.

As far as what computers will get Windows 11 with this update, there are no set rules. Microsoft is using machine learning to determine which computers should receive the Windows 11 update. That means there aren’t any set manufacturers or ages of devices that’ll get it. According to The Verge, they were prompted to update on a few different computers, including a custom gaming PC, so it’s all over the place.

Microsoft says, “The availability of Windows 11 has been increased, and we are leveraging our latest generation machine learning model to offer the upgrade to an expanded set of eligible devices.”

If you want to see whether your computer has been included in the latest wave of Windows 11 updates, you can open Windows Update Settings and click “Check for Updates.” If the upgrade is available to you, you’ll be able to download and install it right away.

Thankfully, if your computer hasn’t received Windows 11 update yet, you can speed the process along by using the Windows 11 Installation Assistant. It’s easy enough to use, and assuming your PC meets the minimum specs, you won’t have to jump through any hoops to get Windows 11 up and running with it.
