In the meantime, more details about the re-release of several Shinkai works on LEONINE Anime are known!

At the beginning of February we reported that several works by «Your Name»-Schöpfers Makoto Shinkai for LEONINE Anime are to be released on disc. In the meantime, more information about the new releases has been revealed.

As is already known, should «Children Who Chase Lost Voices» and «5 Centimeters Per Second» both on 21. May 2021 appear on DVD and Blu-ray. Additionally were now Advance cover published, which you can check out below.

Also new is the information that the OVA «Voices Of A Distant Star» when Extra will be on the disc of “5 Centimeters Per Second”.

The two films as well as the OVA already appeared a few years ago at KAZÉ Anime on disc. Opposite Anime2You the publisher confirmed that the well-known dubbed version under KAZÉ will be used to republish the movies.

All of the works mentioned come from the pen of Makoto Shinkai, who recently achieved greater fame with “Your Name” and “Weathering With You”. These were also created in the studio CoMix Wave Films.
