#”Monster”: German trailer and voices presented

Finally the anime classic «Monster» comes out in German and KSM Anime has presented the voices and a German trailer for it!

The German publisher KSM Anime has the license of the mystery crime classic last year «Monster» announced (we reported). Now the release of the anime by Studio MADHOUSE is coming up soon. Although the anime takes place in Germany, the anime from 2004 was not licensed in German for a long time. The series was only recently released on Netflix, but only a German subtitled version. Now KSM Anime has one for the series German synchronization commissioned, which was created at Think Global Media in Berlin. The dialogue books were written by Martin Gleitze and Klaudia Szulik, while Thomas Wolf took over the dubbing. Sven Gerhardt can be heard in the lead role of Kenzo Tenma. Peter Flechtner speaks as Commissioner Heinrich Runge. Nina Fortner and Johann Liebert are voiced by Janin Stenzel and Carlos Fanselow. Already next week Volume 1 will be released on April 20, 2023 on DVD and Blu-ray. The 74-part series will be published by KSM Anime in 6 volumes, while the first volume contains the first 12 episodes. Each volume appears in one steel book with O-ring, booklet, artcards, trailer and a picture gallery.

Storyline of «Monster»:

Düsseldorf, 1986: Kenzo Tenma is a Japanese neurosurgeon in Germany. A genius in his field, Tenma could save many lives. But clinical standards dictate that he treat the rich and powerful first. However, the needy are left behind. On a fateful day, Tenma chooses to disobey orders from his superiors. Instead of a politician, he saves the life of the seriously injured brother of a pair of twins. Shortly thereafter, Tenma’s superior is found dead. The siblings? Disappeared.

Only many years later does Tenma have to admit a mistake that needs to be corrected. When he and Johann meet again, he realizes whose life he really saved: a monster!
