#’Arrow’ Star David Ramsey Reunites With Caity Lotz in the Old West (PHOTOS)

Before Caity Lotz was Captain Sara Lance of the Waverider on Legends of Tomorrow, fans first met her on Arrow in Season 2, and one of the characters she worked with was David Ramsey’s John Diggle. Well, Ramsey, after guest starring on Batwoman already this season, is popping up on one of the Legends’ missions…but not as Diggle.

In the June 27 episode, “Stressed Western,” Ramsey (who also directed the hour) guest stars as Bass Reeves, the first Black Deputy U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi River, and as seen in the photos (below), he’ll be interacting with Sara. (We’ll have to wait to see if she comments on how much he looks like her friend.)

This mission comes just after Sara reunited with the Legends and proposed to Ava (Jes Macallan). But as the promo reminds us, Sara was changed following her abduction by aliens; she can now regenerate, so bullets aren’t really a problem for her. She’ll clue the team in on her secret after trying to keep things normal.

Meanwhile, Constantine (Matt Ryan), without magic, looks to Gary (Adam Tsekham) in hopes he can help. Plus, Spooner (Lisseth Chavez) and Astra (Olivia Swann) must work together despite their clashing personalities, though that ultimately helps them hone their powers. And Zari (Tala Ashe) takes an unusual interest in Behrad’s (Shayan Sobhian) personal life.
