“Model Jeff Thomas’ Agent Believes He ACCIDENTALLY Fell To His Death While Taking A Selfie!

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

Is there more to the story of model Jeff Thomas’ tragic death earlier this month?

As we previously reported, the 35-year-old was found dead at a Miami, Florida, apartment complex on March 8 after he had apparently jumped from a balcony. While few details about the incident are known, authorities have been investigating the incident as a possible suicide. But was that actually the case? Several people close to Jeff have come forward to cast doubt on the potential cause of death following the tragedy — including his agent.

Speaking to DailyMail.com on Friday, Luli Batista of The Sovereign Talent Group explained how she doesn’t think he would have died by suicide. In fact, she believes the whole thing was a nothing more than a tragic accident! Luli told the outlet that Jeff may have passed away while trying to take a selfie on his balcony, saying:

“I just can’t believe it’s true that he intentionally did this. He may have fallen while he was taking a selfie.”

WHAT?! The man did take a LOT of selfies… Not that you could blame him. Is it possible he was just trying to get that perfect angle and fell over the side? So sad if true…

As for why she’s having a hard time believing the suspected cause of death? Luli recalled that the last time the pair spoke was over text about an upcoming audition less than 24 hours before his sudden death:

“We were talking about a funny audition that I had for him that involved some type of petty fight. We laughed about it and he told me how he is a comedian at heart.”

It sounds like he really wanted to do it! She also noted that he seemed “excited” about the next chapter in his life, and they even had another call scheduled to catch up for that Friday:

“He couldn’t wait to tell me about his move to Miami. He seemed thrilled and was proud of himself. He was happy, motivated and excited for his next step just loving life. I am so stunned. He was such a beautiful and sweet boy.”

The agent isn’t the only one who isn’t buying that Jeff intentionally took his own life. His cousin, Meghan Rae, also insisted to the outlet that is not what happened:

“This was not a suicide. To report otherwise is a complete disregard to his character and who he was. The information being published is false and defamatory. No further comments will be made by our family. Please respect our privacy and his memory during this difficult time.”

However, not everyone in the family wants to remain silent — and not everyone is questioning the manner of death. Jeff’s brother Skylar Ray Thomas suggested on Monday that the One Popsicle founder died by suicide after struggling “with addiction and mental health challenges” over the years. He wrote on Facebook at the time:

“As you have followed through the years, Jeff traveled the world and lived life to the fullest. What you may not know, is Jeff struggled with addiction and mental health challenges, which ultimately led to his tragic passing.”

Skyler continued:

“While Jeff’s struggles were difficult, we want to remember him for the kind and caring person he was. He had a contagious sense of humor, a love for music, art and family, and a passion for helping others. He touched the lives of so many people, and his memory will live on in our hearts forever.”

While an autopsy was performed, the official cause of death has yet to be released — and of course even after the results we may never know for sure what truly happened to Jeff. We continue to send our love to his friends and family, as they go through this difficult time.
