If yesterday's launch of the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime on Crunchyroll has you clamoring for some mecha action, you're in luck. Bandai Namco announced plans to launch free-to-play team action game Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 on PlayStation 5, complete with a few features unique to platform.

In addition to improved load times and frame rate, the PS5 version of Battle Operation 2 introduces DualSense controller features like use of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The triggers reproduce the sensation of resistance and pressure, while the weapon fire sounds blast out of both the controller and TV audio. Haptic feedback also indicates bullet impact, making for more satisfying hits. Of course, all of this can be toggled in the options if it's not to your liking.

There's also a brand new Military Base map, which is ideal for long-range combat specialists.

Other updated features include the ability to transfer your PS4 save data to PS5—as long as you use the same PSN account—and English audio. You can read more about the features on the PlayStation blog, and get ready to hop in a Gundam on PS5 in just a couple days.
