#Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 – A War in the Pocket Will Stream For Free This Month

The 1989 OVA Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 – A War in the Pocket will stream for free on the official Gundam YouTube channel this month. 

The first three episodes of the OVA will be available from February 13 at 9PM JST to February 14 at 8:29PM JST. The last three episodes will be available later from February 20 at 9PM JST to February 21 at 8:29PM JST.

The limited period upload of Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 – A War in the Pocket is meant to commemorate the occasion of the Gundam channel’s subscribers passing the 800,000 mark. The channel’s aim is to reach 10,500,000 subscribers as part of its “Road to U.C.0105” plan. 

Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 – A War in the Pocket is set in a neutral colony during the One Year War between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon. The story follows a 10-year-old called Alfred Izuruha, who is interested in mobile suits. Unknown to Alfred, his neighbor Christina is the test pilot of a prototype Gundam that is targeted by Zeon. Alfred later meets and befriends Bernard “Bernie” Wiseman, a Zeon pilot who is part of a team sent to destroy the prototype Gundam. 

The “Road to U.C.0105” plan first kicked off in January, with the Gundam channel uploading MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM THE ORIGIN Advent of the Red Comet, the 2019 TV series version of the MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM THE ORIGIN OVAs, for a limited time that month.
