#Missouri man saved after collapsing at voting poll

An off-duty officer and his wife saved the life of a Missouri voter Tuesday after he collapsed while in line at a polling place in St. Louis, according to a report.

Kenny Nowling was waiting to cast his ballot at Liberty High School on Tuesday when he fell to the ground while in the middle of a conversation with another voter, according to Fox News.

An off-duty cop and his wife, who is a nurse, sprang into action, administering CPR and shocks from a nearby defibrillator.

Assistant Principal Matt Kiesel, who was assisting election officials at the time of the incident, helped the duo to resuscitate Nowling. He regained a pulse and was able to be taken away when paramedics arrived at the scene.

“Thank you to the Lake Saint Louis police officer, his nurse and angel of a wife and Dr. Kiesel for acting so calmly and methodically and saving this man’s life,” Nowling later posted on social media.

“You all are real-life SUPER HEROS! What a perfect time for all of us to remember that, regardless of our political affiliations, we are all human beings living in the greatest country in the world.”

It was not immediately clear what caused Nowling’s medical episode.
