Genshin Impact has really made a solid impact in the world of gaming by being one of the most played and trending games of the year. Not only that, but it is also a game that is always surrounded by tremendous hype for one thing or the other.

miHoYo always makes sure to please and surprise its fans and keeps the hype around Genshin Impact intact. Now we have some information that miHoYo might be working on a new open-world game. This is what we know about it.

A New Honkai Game?

For those who are unaware, Honkai Impact is a free-to-play 3D action role-playing mobile game developed by miHoYo. The game incorporates a variety of genres, from hack and slash and social simulation to elements of bullet hell and platforming. It features gacha game mechanics spread across multiple single and multiplayer modes.

It will be celebrating its 5-year anniversary on 14^th October next month. During the announcement of the anniversary celebration, miHoYo revealed Post Honkai Odyssey Part 2 expansion. If you don’t know, Post-Honkai Odessey Part 1 and 2 are the DLC/Expansion to the main game.

The thing about this announcement was that it confirms the involvement of an adult Bronya Zaychik. Bronya was also seen in a leaked cutscene of an unannounced game Honkai Star Rail. This is exactly what we think the next game is.

Honkai: Star Rail

We are not just shooting this in thin air as we have some reasons to believe it. Firstly, earlier this year, miHoYo trademarked Honkai: Star Rail. Also, yesterday the client was accidentally uploaded to the app store which gave the internet community a first look at it. Unlike Honkai Impact 3rd or Genshin Impact, Star Rail looks to be a turn-based RPG.

In Star Rail, you might be traveling with a party of 3 like Honkai Impact. The game will be mainly about collecting and unlocking new party members like other miHoYo games.
Also, enemies were seen having element symbols over their heads. This means the combat is going to be way more about countering types. We might also see some familiar faces such as Murata Himeko, as well as Seele.
Apart from Honkai: Star Rail, one other unannounced game called Galaxy is also being speculated. You may or may not choose to believe us as they are all speculations and leaks. The best thing to do is to wait for some official confirmations and information.
