A torched NYPD vehicle was discovered on the Upper West Side early Wednesday morning, police said.
A witness reported the parked cop car engulfed in flames just before 4 a.m. on West 83rd Street near Columbus Avenue.
Police said the vehicle was unoccupied and not being used at the time.
No other information was immediately available.
The Post reported on Tuesday that protesters caused nearly $1 million in damage to 310 NYPD cars since the start of protests over George Floyd’s police-involved death in late May.
