#MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden and Chromatics’ Johnny Jewel Collaborate on New Song: Listen

Last year, Chromatics’ Johnny Jewel and Public Access TV’s John Eatherly launched a new project called Club Intl. Today, they’ve shared a new song called “Never Be the Same,” as well as a remix of the track made by MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden. Hear both versions of the song below.

In a press release, John Eatherly said:

It’s so interesting and exciting having an artist you respect reimagine your work in a way that you never could have possibly heard or thought of yourself. Other than great taste and a knack for making the sounds hit your ears just right, both Andrew and Johnny have in common that they march to the beat of their own drum. That’s the quality I look up to the most in musicians. It’s a dream to work with them together on a track.

On May 14, Club Intl will release their debut album In the Attic via Johnny Jewel’s Italians Do It Better. According to a press release, Eatherly wrote and recorded the album with Jewel at the producer’s home studio in Los Angeles.
