Staying in Washington for Dad’s Day. The Mets’ Taijuan Walker (6-2, ERA 2.12) is on his way to what may be a career best season. He has won two in a row, has allowed three runs over 14 innings, and fanned 12 Cubs in his latest outing.

A look back shows Walker shut out the Nats over seven strong back in April. The Nationals’ Patrick Corbin (4-5, ERA 5.60) is having a subpar season but is coming off a one run, 8 ¹/₃ inning gem against the Pirates. Things didn’t go our way Saturday in D.C., but we will stay with the Nationals for 10 units.
