#Meteorologist warns icicle eaters are likely licking bird feces

These seemingly pristine winter treats are laced with petrified bird turds.

An Iowa meteorologist is imploring the public to refrain from munching on icicles this winter –claiming they’re full of feces. She posted the poopy PSA on TikTok, where it currently boasts over 1.7 million views, as well as Twitter.

“Please don’t do that,” pleads Sioux Falls weatherwoman Katie Nickolaou in the viral clip, which depicts a blurred-out TikToker crunching an icicle like a carrot. “I’m a meteorologist I should know.”

And here’s why, apparently: “When icicles form, it’s from water that melts off your roof and runs down the side of a building,” said Nickolaou. “You know what else is on your roof? Bird poop. A lot of it.”

As she points out, that fecal runoff freezes in the ice like an excremental slushie. So anyone attempting to enjoy one of nature’s popsicles is inadvertently “eating poop,” per the clip.

Go figure: Social media had a field day with the crappy clip.

“So you could say it’s literally a … poopcicle?” quipped one wit on a Twitter repost of the video.

Others wondered why one needed to be a meteorologist to know that icicles contain bird doody.

One detractor even turned it into a generational issue, writing: “This message brought to you by generation millennial/ generation Z who were raised to be afraid of EVERYTHING. Many of us over 40 ate icicles as kids and survived. A miracle!”

Unfortunately, icicles aren’t the only frozen substance that’s full of crap. The mountain of manure potentially caking Alaska’s Denali glaciers is enough to make one wanna take a flamethrower to the snow.
