On Monday (January 10), Jadakiss reminded Jim Jones, Fabolous, Dave East and Maino that he has not forgotten their requests for his lyrical talent on their upcoming Lobby Boys album in a fitness-oriented Instagram post.
While showcasing the unique preparation regimen he’s developed in anticipation of his guest appearance on the project, Jadakiss insisted his New York Hip Hop counterparts come to pay him a visit on his turf before he gets in the booth with them.
“I’m looking for Capo,” he said in the video hanging inverted upside down from a pull up bar. “I’m looking for Dave East, I’m looking for Maino and the Lobby Boys. They said y’all want me on the album. Y’all gotta pull up on me first and come get your verse.”
Several of Jadakiss’ peers chimed in the comments of the post, including Fabolous who was clearly a fan of the high-stamina lex.
“Not Verzuz Kiss energy,” he wrote in his comment stamped with crying laughing emojis.
Much like Jadakiss, Jim Jones, Fabolous, Dave East and Maino began 2022 in the gym, working out in preparation of their collaborative Lobby Boys project and tour.
In the spirit of competitivity, Fabolous has made it a point to flex but has opted to do so with his workout drip rather than his core strength like Jadakiss.
Jadakiss is also gearing up for the NFL postseason and shared a few of his playoff picks ahead of the regular-season finale on IG this past Sunday — plugging the RealMyBookie sportsbook betting app in the process.
