“#Mega Bog Announces New Album, Shares Video for New Song “Station to Station”: Watch”

Erin Birgy has announced her new Mega Bog album with a video for her new song called “Station to Station.” Life, and Another is due out July 23rd via Paradise of Bachelors; the vinyl release is set for August 27. The video for “Station to Station” was directed by Birgy and Laura Conway and shot in the Colorado’s Paint Mines. Check it out below.

Of the video, Birgy said in a statement:

With this video we tried to play with narratives of attachments and roles played by important people in our lives, how they morph, begin, and end in mysterious points of space, time, feeling. Attachments are inevitable, on some level, but was that person any of the things we’ve projected, why and how did we build the narrative for what is necessary for survival, and within the video, was that figure ever even there, or did they appear because of something extraordinary we found in the dust, and ate?

Life, and Another follows Mega Bog’s 2019 LP Dolphine. The new LP was recorded in several studios on the West Coast: the Unknown in Anacortes, Washington, Way Out in Woodinville, Washington, and Tropico Beauty in Glendale, California. The sprawling cast of instrumental contributors includes James Krivchenia of Big Thief and Meg Duffy of Hand Habits.
