Momona Tamada has only been working since 2019, and she’s already been in several major franchises.

She had a minor role in spooky AMC anthology series “The Terror,” which co-starred the legendary George Takei in its most recent season. She also played a younger version of Lana Condor’s character Lara Jean Covey in the second installment of Netflix’s hit rom-com movie trilogy “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.”

Now, the 13-year-old has her biggest role yet in Netflix’s “The Baby-Sitters Club” series (out Friday), based on the popular book series of the same name published from 1986 to 2000, following a group of girls coming of age and having adventures while baby-sitting for their neighbors. (It was also a movie starring Rachel Leigh Cook in 1995).

Tamada stars as Claudia Kishi, the titular club’s vice president. Quirky and artistic, Claudia is one of the most memorable characters to audiences familiar with the BSC.

Tamada talked to The Post about landing the role and more.

Were you familiar with “The Baby-Sitters Club” source material?

I read the books growing up in elementary school and I loved them, so when I got the audition for the reboot I was super excited. And after I got the script, I feel like I fell in love with it even more. It was so cool to see how the writers totally modernized it, but keeping that timeless feel to it, and that nostalgic feeling to it.

[Claudia] was so cool and I looked up to her a lot — that was kind of the first time I saw Asian representation in a book that I read at school. I loved her, she was a definite inspiration to me. I’m super excited for people who grew up reading the books who maybe have kids now and can watch it with their kids. And also maybe kids who read [the later] graphic novels can watch the TV show. I love how the BSC brings so many generations to it, because it has such a timeless storyline.

Claudia is known for her colorful fashion sense. Did you have a favorite piece in her wardrobe?

At first I was nervous to portray such an iconic and loved character, but once you’re in hair and makeup and the wardrobe, it just comes to you. Our wardrobe department is incredible. I have a few favorite outfits — definitely the mustard jumpsuit.

You were also in “To All the Boys 2: P.S. I Still Love You.” What was that like?

That was another incredible experience. I loved the first film and also Lana Condor was a huge inspiration to me as an Asian-American actress, so working with her was a dream come true.

Are you still in regular school, or home-schooled?

When I found out I got the role in “The Baby-Sitters Club” I switched to online school, so I’ve been doing online school for about a year now. I’m going into grade nine.

What kind of roles do you want in the future?

I’m always up for a challenge, so maybe expanding in different genres of acting — maybe action would be fun. Or I’m a dancer and I like to tumble and stuff, so maybe I could use that.
