Windsor Grace Martin has yet to see her father lose a game.

As the Islanders rolled to a 4-2 win over the Florida Panthers in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup qualifiers on Tuesday afternoon, Sydney Esiason shared a photo of her holding baby Windsor as they watched her husband Matt Martin on the ice.

“LFG!” Esiason captioned the photo, with Windsor seemingly sleeping comfortably in her arms.

Martin made it a memorable day, scoring on a sneaky pass from right wing Tom Kuhnhackl to tie up the game at 1-1 in the second period. The Panthers went ahead 2-1 later in the period, but the Islanders dominated from there, scoring the final three goals.

“Sydney was totally on board for me to play,” Martin said in July, days after Windsor was born, about his decision to come to the Toronto bubble. “She has her family here that will help her out while I’m gone, and both of our families want me to play.”

The Islanders, who won 2-1 in Game 1, will look to finish off the Panthers in the best-of-five series on Wednesday afternoon.
