#Matt Harvey wants to save his baseball career in Korea

The Post confirmed on Friday a Korean-based report by SBS that Harvey’s representatives with Scott Boras’ agency reached out to KBO teams. According to the report, there’s no match yet, but it remains a possibility. KBO rosters allow a maximum of three foreign players and only two can be pitchers.

The South Korean league is one of the few professional leagues that has resumed action and Harvey, 31, had not found a new home in the MLB by the time spring training was shut down in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Harvey had a workout with the Blue Jays in Connecticut in February, but didn’t receive a contract offer and has been throwing bullpen sessions regularly since then.

But with MLB and the Players Association still unable to strike a deal to return to play, there’s little chance Harvey could catch on with a team during an abbreviated season, especially with the minor league season almost certainly done for the year.

Last month, Harvey told The Post he’s considered the possibility his career might be over.

“I have thought about it here and there,” said Harvey, who was drafted seventh overall by the Mets in 2010. “I haven’t not had a job in 10 years. It’s definitely different, but it’s exciting at the same time because I feel so good mechanically.”

Harvey made his debut with the Mets in 2012, became an All-Star the following season and after undergoing Tommy John surgery, returned in 2015 to help guide the Mets to the World Series.

But Harvey was forced to undergo surgery in 2016 for thoracic outlet syndrome and has never been the same.

He returned in 2017, pitched poorly and after a bad start in 2018, Harvey was designated for assignment and traded to the Reds. He went on to sign a one-year, $11 million deal with the Angels prior to last season and was released in July with a 7.09 ERA. He finished the year in the minors with Oakland.

“I hope I get the opportunity,’’ Harvey said. “I feel like I’m in high school again, where I have to showcase myself and start all over. I just want to put myself in position to be ready and if it doesn’t work out, to know I put the effort in to make a comeback … I hope somebody gives me a shot. I feel like I have many more years in me.”
