The former Manhattan doctor who accused of abusing dozens of women — including Evelyn Yang, wife of former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang — was hit with federal charges for the alleged assaults on Wednesday, authorities said.

Robert Hadden, a former OBGYN, abused his victims, including minors, from 1993 until 2012, according to an indictment that was unsealed Wednesday in Manhattan federal court.

Hadden groomed his victims by chatting with them about their personal lives and sharing details about his own life and family, according to the indictment.

He then steered their conversations to sexual topics and asked his victims inappropriate questions about their sex lives and made comments about their appearance, federal prosecutors allege.

Hadden then abused his victims by groping them and performing oral sex on them, according to the documents.

He was arrested by federal authorities in New Jersey Wednesday morning and is in federal custody, a spokesperson for the US Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York said.

He was hit with a six-count indictment for enticing his victims to travel from out of state to New York so he could sexually abuse them.

Hadden had previously been arrested and cut a deal with state prosecutors in 2016, which allowed him to avoid any jail time while agreeing to turn over his medical license and to register as a sex offender.

Earlier this year, Evelyn Yang went public with her accusation against Hadden, telling CNN that he abused her while she was pregnant in 2012.

“I was in the exam room, and I was dressed and ready to go. Then, at the last minute, he kind of made up an excuse,” she told the network.

“He said something about, ‘I think you might need a C-section,’ and he proceeded to grab me over to him and undress me and examine me internally, ungloved,” she recalled.

“I knew it was wrong. I knew I was being assaulted,” she added.

It was not immediately clear why the feds have now become involved.

Attorney information for Hadden was not immediately available.
