#Man clinging to life broad-daylight Bronx shooting

A man was chased for a half a block and shot repeatedly on a Bronx street Sunday morning, shocking onlookers, police and a witness said.

The 26-year-old victim — who police say is a rapper — was fighting for his life after being blasted five or six times outside 377 Brook Ave. near 143rd St. around 8:30 a.m., police said.

“I heard like gunshots ‘pow pow’ maybe four or more,” a man who would only identify himself as Jose said.

“The guy was full of blood on his chest, stomach and back. He didn’t look good. It’s dangerous out here. They’re telling me he got chased out of the bodega and they shot him up here, a half block away. Crazy.”

The victim, who wasn’t immediately identified, was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center in critical condition, cops said.

Investigators were reviewing surveillance video and trying to determine if the man had been in a fight inside a nearby store before he was shot, cops said.
