#DPR And UNICEF Launch Children’s Rights Advocacy, ‘DPR FOR EVERY CHILD’

South Korean music and video group DPR (Dream Perfect Regime) announced on social media yesterday, August 10, that they have partnered with UNICEF in the “DPR FOR EVERY CHILD” campaign. The partnership aims to “get young people more informed and engaged in advocating for children’s rights through creativity and art.”

“DPR started as a group of friends with a dream. We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to pursue our dream of creating art, which has connected us to so many communities and cultures around the world. We’re grateful that our pursuit is now coming full circle to support individuals and organizations dedicated to helping all youth pursue their dreams,” the group wrote on social media.

To commemorate the joint effort, DPR also wore shirts emblazoned with a “reimagined [collage-inspired] UNICEF logo,” similarly employed in the cover art of DPR Live’s latest album, IITE COOL.

“We’re humbled to be a small part of UNICEF’s work and hopeful for a future where the feeling of possibility and adventure that fueled DPR can become a reality for youth and children everywhere,” they added. More information is available on UNICEF’s website.

Aside from DPR, South Korean global sensation BTS has also been working with UNICEF since 2017 for the LOVE MYSELF campaign, helping with the “work to end violence against children and young people and has helped adolescents all over the world open up about their own experiences.”
