#Players to start, sit for NFL Week 8

Big Weeks

Boston Scott RB, Eagles, vs. Cowboys (FanDuel $6,800/DraftKings $6,000)

If, and only if, Miles Sanders does not play, Scott should get the bulk of the carries. After giving up just two rushing TDs in the first three games, Dallas has allowed six in the past four games.

DeeJay Dallas RB, Seahawks, vs. 49ers (FD $4,600/DK $4,000)

If, and only if, Carlos Hyde doesn’t play, even in a tough matchup against the 49ers, the third-stringer should at least get decent volume, in a game in which San Fran isn’t as capable at exploiting the weak Seattle secondary as others.

Brandon Aiyuk WR, 49ers, at Seahawks (FD $5,900/DK $5,800)

Yeah, we know, we just pooh-poohed the 49ers’ passing game, but that doesn’t mean they won’t score some points. And with no Deebo Samuel, Aiyuk should continue his recent surge. A strong flex play.

A.J. Green WR, Bengals, vs. Titans (FD $/5,800DK $4,500)

He has more targets than any Bengals receiver in the past two games — and back-to-back strong fantasy outings. With that amount of attention, he should start catching up to the output of teammates Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins.

Small Weaks

Matthew Stafford QB, Lions, vs. Colts (FD $7,200/DK $6,400)

Stafford has been steady though not spectacular. But don’t be surprised if Sunday is his worst fantasy outing of the season to date — against the stingiest fantasy defense against QBs.

Ezekiel Elliott RB, Cowboys, at Eagles (FD $8,900/DK $7,400)

With no Dak Prescott and missing a number of offensive lineman, Elliott has been simply awful the past two weeks. The Eagles’ D offers little reprieve. And if Dallas falls far behind, like last week, we could see some Tony Pollard.

Ronald Jones RB, Buccaneers, at Giants (FD $6,300/DK $5,700)

Our worry isn’t the Giants’ run defense, it is the presence and better production of Leonard Fournette — who outplayed Jones dramatically last week.

J.K. Dobbins RB, Ravens, vs. Steelers (FD $5,100/DK $4,600)

Even if you like his prospects with Mark Ingram injured, a quick reminder that he is facing the toughest fantasy run defense, and Gus Edwards is still around to steal carries.
