#Malaysia, Singapore to Screen Trapezium Anime Movie from September 19

ODEX has announced that the anime movie Trapezium will debut in Malaysian, Singaporean, and Laotian theaters on September 19.

Trapezium, which originally premiered in Japan on May 10, adapts the novel by ex-Nogizaka46 member Kazumi Takayama, who wrote the story while she was still part of the idol group. The story follows Yu Azuma, a high school student who has her sights set on becoming an idol and imposes four conditions on herself in order to achieve her goal.

Takayama’s novel was serialized in KADOKAWA’s Da Vinci from 2016 to 2018. A bunkoban version with illustrations from Tae was released in 2018. 

The movie’s theme song is “Nanmonai” from MAISONdes feat. Hoshimachi Suisei, sakuma
