“Makoto Raiku’s Zatch Bell! Manga Plans Original Art Exhibition This Fall”
In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Makoto Raiku’s popular action fantasy manga series Konjiki no Gash!! (Zatch Bell!! in the west) and the release of its long-awaited sequel Konjiki no GASH!! 2, “Konjiki no Gash!! and Makoto Raiku Original Art Exhibition” is set to be held at Tokyo Soramachi (5th floor, Space 634) in Tokyo from September 16 to October 2, 2022, and at Kintetsu Department Store Main Store Abeno Harukas (Wing Building 9th Floor, Event Hall) in Osaka from October 6 to 17.
As reported in February, the sequel has been available on Japanese digital bookstores since March 2022 and so far five chapters have been released.
The official site writes, “With gratitude to the fans who have supported the series for the past 20 years, we plan to exhibit the original drawings of many of his works including ‘Konjiki no Gash!!’ and sell commemorative goods, allowing visitors to experience the world of his works.” Further details will be posted on the exhibition’s official website and Twitter soon.
