“Magical Revolution Anime Releases Climax PV and Visual”

The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady anime adaptation, which is set to air its 12th episode next week, has received a climax trailer and visual that tease a clash between Anisphia and Euphyllia.

Magical Revolution premiered on January 4, with Crunchyroll, Muse Asia, iQIYI, and Bilibili streaming the fantasy yuri title outside Japan. The anime is based on the Kadokawa-published light novel series written by Piero Karasu and illustrated by Yuri Kisaragi.

Yen Press, which publishes both the light novels and Harutsugu Nadaka‘s manga adaptation in English, describes the former as:

Despite her supposed ineptitude with regular magic, Princess Anisphia defies the aristocracy’s expectations by developing “magicology,” a unique magical theory based on memories from her past life. One day, she witnesses the brilliant noblewoman Euphyllia unjustly stripped of her title as the kingdom’s next monarch. That’s when Anisphia concocts a plan to help Euphyllia regain her good name-which somehow involves them living together and researching magic!  Little do these two ladies know, however, that their chance encounter will alter not only their own futures, but those of the kingdom…and the entire world!

The anime’s staff includes Shingo Tamaki (Ahiru no SoraAho-Girl) as director, Wataru Watari (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU light novel author) as series composer, and Naomi Ide (Riddle Story of Devil) as character designer. Diomedéa is the animation production company.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Sayaka Senbongi as Anisphia, Manaka Iwami as Euphyllia Magenta, Ai Kakuma as Ilia Coral, Yuu Sasahara as Tilty Claret, Shougo Sakata as Algard von Palletia, and Hina Youmiya as Lainie Cyan.

The Magical Revolution light novel series began in 2020 and has six volumes as of January 2023. The books are published under the Fantasia Bunko label. Prior to the light novels, Magical Revolution was published as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2019.
