As announced on Twitter today, the anime “Puella Magi Madoka Magica” is getting a new project for the 10th anniversary of the series!

So far, however, there is no more detailed information, such as a release date or what exactly the project is about. Further details will be announced at a later date, according to the project’s website.

The anime series ran in spring 2011 and also received two compilation films in 2012. A sequel film followed in 2013 and a spin-off mobile game in Japan in 2017. The anime series “Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story” for the game ran in January 2020.

In this country, the series “Madoka Magica” and the sequel film were released by Universum Anime. The spin-off series “Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story” was simulcast on WAKANIM and is available on demand in the original sound with German subtitles.

When the young student Madoka Kaname is torn from a strange dream by her little brother one morning, she goes to school with her friends as usual. Will Madoka and her friend Sayaka take the advice of their protector and refrain from becoming Magical Girls, or will they accept the tempting offer contrary to the recommendation?
