Japanese voice actor agency Aoni Production announced today that Aoi Yuuki (Madoka Kaname in Puella Magi Madoka Magica), who tested positive for the PCR test for COVID-19 on July 28 and had continued to receive medical treatment, has met the criteria of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and is now fully recovered.

The agency writes, “We would like to apologize once again to our fans and all those involved for the concern and inconvenience this incident has caused. We will do our utmost to prevent the spread of the infection and ensure that all of our actors and staff members are in good health.”
Yuuki herself also announced the happy news on her official Twitter account: “I am very sorry for your concern! Thanks to your kind support, I was able to recuperate well and came back as Aoi Yuuki EX! I hope to continue to deliver ‘fun’ to you all in high spirits! Thank you very much!”
