“Lycoris Recoil Previews Ending Song in New Commercial”

Following yesterday’s “OPver” commercial, Lycoris Recoil has released a new 30-second “EDver) trailer featuring the ending song “Hana no Tou” by Sayuri. The video also shows off more of the relationship between main heroines Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue.

Lycoris Recoil follows a group of girls who are Lycoris, agents of the DA (Direct Attack) organization. Their mission is to maintain peace by preventing crimes before they have begun, but the LICORICO cafe that is one of the DA’s branches also takes on tasks like taking care of children and teaching Japanese to foreigners. The anime is set to premiere on July 2 in Japan, with Crunchyroll streaming it outside of the country.

The staff includes Shingo Adachi (Sword Art Online and WORKING!! character designer) as director, Asaura (Shousetsu Knights of Sidonia: Kitto Arifureta Koi author) as the story draft writer, Imigimuru (This Art Club Has a Problem! mangaka) as character designer, and Spider Lily as the creator. A-1 Pictures is the animation production company. 

Other staff include Kenji Sawada (Shikimori’s Not Just A Cutie co-main animator) as main animator, Hotaka Okomoto (Platinum End) and Maiko Ikeda (Beyblade Burst QuadDrive) as art directors, Azusa Sasaki (Zombieland Saga Revenge) as color designer, Toshiaski Aoshima (The Millionaire Detective Balance: Unlimited) as photography director, and Shuuhei Mutsuki (Three Leaves, Three Colors) as music composer. Yuusuke Maruyama (Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon: The Second Act opening director and storyboarder) is helping Adachi as assistant director, while Yumiko Yamamoto (Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld co-character designer) is serving as sub-character designer.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Chika Anzai as Chisato, Shion Wakayama as Takina, Ami Koshimizu as Mizuki Nakahara,  Misaki Kuno as Kurumi, and Kousuke Sakaki as Mika.
